John co-leads Primary Digital's Investments Team and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the firm, including portfolio management activities. He has over 20 years of industry experience and is a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to co-founding Primary Digital, John was a Managing Director at GI Partners from 2019-2023 where he led the firm’s technology real estate acquisitions and developments. During his tenure at GI Partners, he completed and oversaw the acquisition of 30 properties totaling more than 5.4 million square feet. Prior to GI Partners, John was President of Infomart Data Centers from 2014-2018 where his portfolio included the Infomart in Dallas, one of the most valuable and interconnected carrier hotels in the world. He was founder and CEO of Fortune Data Centers from 2006-2014.
John graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He also obtained his MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
